THE LINCOLN LAWYER (2011) "Lawyer Finding The Hidden Secret"

The Lincoln Lawyer is a 2011 American thriller film adapted from the 2005 novel of the same name by Michael Connelly. The film was directed by Brad Furman, with a screenplay written by John Romano, and stars Matthew McConaughey as the titular lawyer, Mickey Haller. The film co-stars Ryan Phillippe, Marisa Tomei, and Josh Lucas, and features William H. Macy and Bryan Cranston in supporting roles.
The movie is about smart guys, who are wise enough and pave their way out of hurdles with criminals and I believe it is admirable. I enjoyed the big old cars and courtroom that set the mood for the movie’s genre. “The Lincoln Lawyer” is one of my all-time favourites because it involves all three components, and also due to Matthew McConaughey with a first-rate supporting cast. Above all, it contains a lot of mystery which makes it more appealing. In any movie that has Matthew McConaughey as a lead role, the movie automatically becomes a ten out of ten. The character Haller played by him is amazingly portrayed and none other could do justice to that role.
Anyway, Haller is a street-wise defence attorney with connections who know how to collect and invest prudent envelopes full of cash. So connected is this guy that a motorcycle gang materializes about when he needs one. One day a bondsman (John Leguizamo) comes to him with a higher-class client than usual. Louis Roulet (Ryan Phillippe) is a rich kid from Beverly Hills accused of beating up a woman. He's clean-cut, looks Mick in the eyes, seriously insists he is innocent and wants a trial to prove it.
Let's not go into the details because I really want you to watch this awesome movie. Haller was convinced and took the case and started to collect evidence in the impression that the Roulet guy was innocent and took the case as the case proceeded Haller came to realize that something stinks and the movie took an unexpected turn from there with full of twists. Roulet is a rich guy with influence over many people so he starts to threaten his attorney so now Haller has to win the case knowing that his client is guilty what will he do next to know that you have to watch this amazing movie.
The movie concludes with the message that when you go after money without thinking straight you might have to do the wrong things to get out of it. The other thing is if you find yourself in a situation like this if you devote yourself to find the solution you will absolutely find it.

BATMAN BEGINS (2005)

Batman Begins is one of the most fascinating movies of 2005. It is the perfect blend of origin tale, crime thriller and action. The movie is based on the story of a boy named Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) who after the death or murder of his parents (Thomas and Martha Wayne, the owner of Wayne Enterprises) transformed himself to a batman (superhero) to seek justice against criminals.
The question arises what makes this movie unique? "Batman Begins" sets the new standard for how the superhero comic book movie should begin. The film distanced itself so drastically from the previous iteration through its characters. A young Bruce Wayne, after his parents were slain in front of his eyes, travels to the far East where he is trained in martial arts by mentor Ra’s Al Gul (Ken Watanabe). Ra’s Al Gul teaches him how to fight against evil. After his training, he returned to Gotham (hometown) and with the help of Alfred (Michael Cane) his loyal butler and Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman), a tech expert at Wayne Enterprises, Batman was born. When he returns to Gotham he becomes a totally new person who has the power to fight against criminals. He adopts the image of a bat to strike fear into the criminals. Now the question arises why “bats”? When he was 8-year-old he accidentally fell into a good shaft. He screamed as he was swarmed by bats when they darkened the air and flew upward. This became a recurring nightmare for 28-year-old Bruce Wayne.
The most motivating part of this movie is that how Bruce converts his weaknesses into his strengths. The people who have seen THE DARK KNIGHT must watch THE BATMAN BEGINS too because it is the first part and it would help them to understand the reason behind Batman's character and how Gordon and Batman got to where they are. Batman has proved that comic book movies can be highly entertaining. I strongly recommend the entertainment lovers to watch it.

EIGHTH GRADE

Eighth Grade manages to stand apart from the rest by not only focusing on a time which has been oddly overlooked in these kinds of films which tend to mainly focus on high school. But also, by being brutally, cringe worthy and honest about the pimple faced awkward nightmare that time was.
This film marks the directorial debut of Bo Burnham, one of YouTube's original teen stars who have become famous for his music and commentary. has as given us an agonizingly rich and authentic look at what life is like for Kayla (Elsie Fisher), a shy 13-year-old girl in today's social media obsessed world. Burnham, doesn't spare any detail and doesn't alter any truth. A lot of the film has a very uncomfortable awkward feel to it and it works perfectly in conveying what that time was like for most kids. It doesn't sugarcoat anything or try to meet our expectations. It shows middle school for what it is.
This earnest storytelling is refreshing in an era of coming of age stories which focus more on evoking cheap feels through the use of pretty actors and emotionally manipulative music.
Kayla, like so many kids her age, is a shy girl pretending to be confident. The film puts a lot of focus on the use of social media which could easily be cringe as many films fail to portray this properly but surprisingly the film does it well. She posts advice videos to YouTube on how to be yourself, something with which she still very much struggles. As she records one video, she slowly rolls her chair farther away from the camera, indicating a declining level of self-assurance. This mirrors her real-world peer interactions, in which she stammers and laughs halfway through sentences as she begins to doubt herself and shrink with embarrassment, not that the self-absorbed "listener" bothers to notice.
I don't know many of these actors, but they do a great job. Elsie Fisher captures the innocence, vulnerability and even aggressiveness of kids her age perfectly. Her dad (played brilliantly by Josh Hamilton) brings out the struggle parents have to go through at this point in their kids' development. He doesn't have all the answers, but he keeps trying.
Overall there's very little I don't like about the film. I feel the film is shot standard. Like I get it was going for an almost documentary type feel and that it's Bo's first film, but it never looked like it wasn't amateurishly shot. I've seen quite a few first-time directors end up making some interesting visuals in their films. I also find it odd that Bo didn't write any songs for the film.
Those are pretty minor issues and overall the film is pretty fantastic, and I'd strongly recommend you see it.

ABOUT TIME (2013)

It’s a shame that the movie “About time” released in 2013 has not been very popular amongst movie lovers. Sadly, it is a very underrated and unappreciated movie which has a rating of 7.8 on IMDB. It’s a story of an adult who just turned 21 who realized he has the power to turn back time. But only go back in his own past.
Many of us in our lives have thought about turning back time, fixing mistakes we wish we never made, thinking about doing something we might’ve never had the courage to when we had the chance, spending more time with the ones we love. The producer scripted the movie so wonderfully that it hits home.
The main character, Tim, is an average kid who has barely made it into the world of law. He left his home and is staying with his dad’s friend, Harry, who is a divorced theatre director in London. What I personally love about Harry’s character is that it depicts a spitting image of an artist; a low life, depressed and unappreciated human left in the struggles of his career. Tim’s life is dull and without the touch of a woman. One night with his best friend Jay, upon a blind date (and I mean literally) he thought he found the love of his life. Starry-eyed, he returns to tell Harry about the whole mesmerizing experience, upon which he finds Harry’s show didn’t go as planned.  He turns back time and that’s where things start to go south. Turning back his past and changing a small aspect of it also meant he had to give up something in return. And here, that something else meant the blind date didn’t happen. He fixed Harry’s show but the love of his life, Mary, had never met Tim.
Now at this point in the movie, you’d think, well there are tons of fish in the sea, but Tim had found the one. And quite frankly if we think someone’s “the one”, we’d turn back time to fix everything with them and never let go. So Tim does whatever he can to introduce himself to her, over and over, in the best way that he possibly can. And he finally did. After their love takes afloat he finds himself turning back time for the little of mistakes which you and I (let’s be honest) would. During his daughter’s birthday he comes to know that his sister got into a huge accident and if he goes back in time to change that, he could never have that daughter. He learns the hard way that he can’t fix everything and everyone’s life. After his second child, Tim is stricken with the truth that his father (whom he idolizes) has cancer. The father has portrayed in such a beautiful way that it makes you realize not every American movie shows low family values. The bond between Tim and his father is so strong that the father’s death breaks your heart. No matter how many times I’ve watched the movie, somehow I find myself skipping that part (but maybe it’s just me). After sometime Tim and Mary plan to have a third child. During that time Tim finds himself going back in time often to see his father. Just before Mary is going in labor he visits all the memories with his father for the last time.
Tim then used time travel to live every day twice, one for seeing how good or bad the day goes, and one for enjoying the day like he meant it. And he realizes that he doesn’t need to go back in time just to make a day good. He could do that even without time travel. That idea makes me realize that maybe all the mistakes we’ve made are okay and maybe time travelling isn’t as marvellous as it seems if it has consequences that make changing our past worse. The movie not only shows the realities of life with a twist of time travel but comes to the conclusion that you can’t change everything and some things you have to live with, no matter what. The soundtrack puts you in a light mood. I’d definitely recommend About Time as a feel-good movie. 9.5/10.

13 REASONS WHY TEENS AND ADULTS SHOULD WATCH “13 REASONS WHY”

The show is based on the 2007 novel by Jay Asher; the show depicts the chain reaction of the suicide of Hannah Baker (Katherine Langford), who leaves behind a series of cassette tapes explaining her reasons for taking her own life. Its straightforward approach to sensitive subjects including rape, bullying, self-harm and a graphic depiction of Hannah's suicide in the season finale made 13 Reasons Why a controversial as it became popular. It is also prompting concerns on the part of school administrators, mental health professionals, and parents about whether it's safe for teens. But if you access it with deliberation and open-mindedness, the series can be helpful in teaching adults and teenagers how to work through difficult issues.
Here are 13 reasons why teens and adults should watch “13 reasons why”
1.       13 reasons why handles difficult topics very sensitively and provided an opportunity to discuss them openly.
2.       Parents and children didn’t find it easy to talk over sensitive topics, hence this show reduced that gap and allowed children to clarify their misconceptions.
3.       Its provide power to teenagers to discuss the story among themselves and take a moral from the story.
4.       When it’s watched with open-mindedness, teens would mix their values with the show. This would be a perfect mix for a teenager.
5.       It provides an insight into how to deal with people around you. Teen face many hormonal changes which make them feel the most powerful person, this show provide direction to that power.
6.       The show provides knowledge to avoid the certain situation and people which would not be helpful in any case for teenagers.
7.       Show guides you to deal with people floating rumours against you and to fight against rumours as well.
8.       When discussing openly with friends and family, one must generate a deep and strong social connection.
9.       It is a very impactful and moral based drama series which would provide a sensible direction to thinking style of teenagers.
10.   Around 70% of today’s youth is facing the major problem of depression which eventually leads to suicide or maybe not actually death but a journey of dying every second. Adults and teenagers need to know what this is all about, after watching this show they would feel “it’s okay not to be okay”.
11.   Being a teenager means a person who is bullied (fighting mental illness) or the one who is bullying (spreading mental illness). Either way, watching such a show clears the image.
12.   This show implements the message “do good have well” and obviously if you are being the reason for hurting others, you must be facing its consequences in long run.
13.   This show would help the societies to understand the problems faced by teenagers. We must realize not to bully someone at that extent were the only solution to them is suicide.
