Thugs of Hindostan, Yash
Raj Films' is a Hindi action adventure film of 2018 directed by Vijay Krishna
Acharya, which is an unexciting movie. Stars of the movie are Amitabh Bachan,
Amir Khan, Fatima Sana sheikh and Katrina Kaif. Thugs of Hindostan is a joyless
slog in the guise of the movie, not every film seems to be uplifting inspiring
or even fun its real shame because thugs have all the ingredients for swash
buckling adventure there’s a thrilling action in the high seas and a clutch of
decent songs and of course the casting of two stars Amitabh Bachan and Amir
khan together on screen for the first time. The problem is that it’s all held
together by a moth-eaten script from some 70s an outdated plotting of
revenge. In start they show that British came to Hindostan to start business but
after some time they started taking hold on small businesses. At the same time,
they showed Ronak Pur king Mirza Skinadar Baig was killed by John Clive. All
the residents of his kingdom were murdered except for his daughter. She was
saved by a warrior named Khuda Baksh. After so many years they showed that he
trained her in the arts of welfare. They also show that Khuda Baksh leads a
gang of thugs known as AZAAD. Thugs is about a Gang of Rebels led by heroic
Khuda bakhsh played by Amitabh Bachchan who is trying to win back the Kingdom
of Ronak Pur from the East India company.British hire Firangi Mallah to spy on
thugs for England and the most colorful character is Firangi Mallah played by
Aamir Khan. He is duplicitous double-crossing a charming opportunist who cons
people for living.but as firangi says “betrayal is my nature”. After meeting
AZAAD he thought to betray British, then the Indians, then again British as he
is never quite sure which side he is on. Firangi is an Indian but he is under
protection of British. The film is infect riddled with corny bits involving
protection bracelets and poisonous ludoos. This film has many scenes that are
taken from other movies. Like pirate of Caribbean had a monkey but, in this
movie, they took an eagle whenever you expect to see it flies away. They
copied different species but with same theme. Frankly we are equally tormented
by the way that Clive in the air the British officers Murder the Hindi
dialogues for some reason e.g. two British soldiers are talking to each other
in Hindi which is very illogical. It’s a good thing that action scenes are
nicely mounted and executed especially the ones in which rival ships go on war
on the sea. An early sequence in which a horse is smuggled on to a ship is
especially impressive. Amir khan is the best part of movie, his dialogues and
joy full nature made the movie funny. But for most parts Thugs of Hindostan is
a humorless solemn affair. I would like to give 2/5 for this movie.

BLACK PANTHER (2018)
Black Panther contains extraordinary composition, great coordinating and the best cast of youthful performing artists which has made an amazing activity motion picture. Crowds will come back from the Miami Club Casino back to the period that pursued Captain America: Civil War. Sovereign T'Challah first showed up in that film and now Chadwick Boseman's Prince T'challa returns as the modify personality of superhuman Black Panther plans to lead his nation through change and test.
T'Challa comes back to Wakanda after his dad's passing. Wakanda is a propelled nation where innovative wizardry is underestimated. T'Challa is set up to have his spot as successor to his dad, the ruler and proceed with the falsification that Wakanda is a crude country. Wakanda puts on a show to be a retrogressive nation so as to secure the "vibranium" – a characteristic asset that enables the nation to race ahead mechanically.
T'Challa realizes that the world has changed and should choose how to continue – regardless of whether to proceed with the misrepresentation and spare the customary lifestyle or bring Wakanda into the world network.
As T'Challa contemplates his best course of action Ulysses Kalue, a famous arms merchant, alongside associate Erik Killmonder, can anchor some vibanium. T'Challa 's drive to foil Kalue and Killmonder's endeavors undermines his place as successor to the Wakanda royal position.
Chief Ryan Coogler conveys character and feeling to the content which he composed with Joe Robert Cole. The film advances through the anticipation and interest even as T'Challa endeavors to recuperate from the melancholy of his dad's demise. The new youthful ruler is torn between driving Wakanda into the world and keeping up the country's customs.
The Audience will have the capacity to feel for T'Challa who portrayed as peaceful and mindful yet prepared to jump enthusiastically as Black Panther when fundamental. T'Challa isn't terrified to act when the circumstance requests yet all in all he's substance to hold up quietly while adopting a deliberate strategy.
Coogler made sure to encompass T'Challa with a solid cast of supporting characters. Each performing artist is given his/her minute to sparkle. Nakita is T'Challa's future love intrigue, however, she is given a lot of chances to exhibit her amazing battling aptitudes while Okoye, the leader of Wakanda's Special Forces, demonstrates his savage dedication while securing his nation with energetic anger.
Wakanda's novel culture is exhibited through T'Challa's mom, played by Angela Bassett, and an otherworldly master depicted by Forest Whitaker. A standout amongst the most captivating characters is T'Challah's younger sibling, Shuri, who utilizes her aptitudes as a tech wizard to assemble new defensive layer and weapons for her sibling.
The emerge execution of the film is that of Michael B. Jordan who depicts Killmonger as an awful miscreant who's brimming with anguish and rage. Jordan adds a dimension of mankind to a character who could have been played as a straightforward maverick. In Jordan's grasp, a basic Marvel troublemaker goes up against layers of mankind and feeling to which a watcher can relate.

QUESTIONS UNANSWERED IN RICK AND MORTY
Rick and Morty is a really complicated show. And I mean REALLY complicated. The more you
watch it the more you get confused. And it’s just season 3. How much more crazy
will this get??
1) Are we following C-137 Rick and
Morty?
In the
episode where Rick and Morty go to Jerryboree Inc. and sign him in the Jerry
care is where things start to get messy. By the end of it we see a Rick and
Morty claiming a Jerry before going home from another Rick and Morty, and they
swap the Jerry. Before leaving the number on the ticket is something else
written on it than it was when they arrived. Either we’ve been following a
different Rick and Morty, or the wrong Jerry came into the house. Not only that
but, another episode has Mr. Poopybutthole as a part of their family. And that
is the only episode we ever see Mr. Poopybutthole. Not only that but there is a
constant back and forth of how Rick abandons dimensions like the one filled
with Kronenbergs, the one where he dies and then replaces himself there. The
whole show is getting crazier and crazier by the second. And at this point we
might be lost as to which Rick and Morty we’re following.
2) Is Rick and Morty still stuck in a
simulation?
It is quite
possible that Rick and Morty are stuck in the simulation they were in the
episode 4 of season 1 where aliens trap Rick, Morty and Jerry (accidentally) in a
simulation to get some concentrated dark matter. We see that Rick and Mort
never really die or nothing really happens to them when Rick pretends to make
concentrated dark matter but it ends up being just an explosive to destroy
them. If that is the case, then it’s highly bizarre that they went through all
this trouble just to get some concentrated dark matter’s formula on their
hands. If this theory checks out, then there’s a possibility that we’ve been
watching a simulation of the Zigerion all this time.
3) Is Beth real?
By the end
of season 3, the creators of this episode keep everyone wonder whether Beth
took up Rick’s offer of leaving and doing what she needed to so she could be at
peace while Rick could clone her body, memories and her way of living and no
one would even notice. There are two possibilities to this. 1. That she really
did leave and that is why clone Beth is so happy and loving and carefree
towards her children after all of this happens. And 2. That she never really
left but the idea that she could be free or at least have the option of doing
this and it sets her mind at peace. She might just have had a change of heart
and let all of this be. Or did she?
4) Who is Evil Morty?
Evil Morty
is pretty popular among the Citadel and as well as fans of the show. However
there is a theory that C-137 Rick abandoned his grandson and he turned out to
be Evil Morty as a phase of revenge towards him. There is a lot of absurdity
towards who Evil Morty is since he has no background and his Rick is just a
robot controlled by him. Rick has changed dimension many many times without any
problems. And it is very visible of how he treats Morty. So there is a
possibility these two will meet in the future and kill each other eventually.
I don’t
know about you but I’m very excited to see how all of this unveils as the
writers of this series are very careful with their writing and do not let a
single frame go meaningless. The internet has many theories to these questions
but only time will tell.

NOW YOU SEE ME 2 (2016)
This is an American
film of the year 2016, directed by Jon M.chu and written by Ed Solomon. This
film had a wide variety of cast which made the film very pleasing to watch.
This movie is a sequel of “now you see me” released in 2013. This movie earned
a total of $334 million worldwide.
The plot of the movie
revolves around four horsemen and their leader. The leader actually wanted to
take revenge for his father’s death; he was of the view that his father was
murder while performing the magic trick. In order to take revenge of his father
he got the commission in FBI but later he got to know that it was his
misconception and it was his father’s mistake and as a result, his father died.
The four horsemen took
instructions from The Eye which is a secret society of magicians but later on,
they got to know that there were certain bad elements of the society behind the
eyes. The four horsemen along with their leader made a plan to expose them who
actually wanted to spy on every computer on the earth with a chip. The eye in
the whole scenario means looking at everybody from a hidden eye. In the end,
they executed them with the whole team.
All the tricks
performed are deconstructed in great detail, as if the audience would not miss
any of their cleverness and what it signifies. The characters are very much
related by their accomplishment of human stunts, yes there were some special
efforts were made to make the scenes more appealing but that's fine otherwise
it would look like a cartoon. At certain points, the movie scenes were very
starched and making the movie boring but they have included certain twists at
that points, due to which audience did not mind.
The plot also consists
of a series of games which are commonly used in magic tricks such as card manipulation,
hypnotism, illusions, and a great deal of technology and escape tricks.
Group leader J. Daniel
Atlas had skills of both illusions and card tricks, hypnotist was Merritt
McKinney and the sleight-of-hand artist was Jack Wilder and a fast-talking
illusionist Lula. All of them with different skills made a very unique group of
magicians.
It’s a very good
movie for entertainment and one must watch it. It contains a very good moral
that group is better than individuals because nobody had similar skills
everybody requires each other to complete a task. Other then this it’s being
told that the leader is always the one who leads from the front and would help
his team no matter what.Friday, 23 November 2018
Zero (2018 Film)
‘Zero’
is an upcoming Indian movie scheduled to be released on 21 December 2018. The
movie is directed by Anand L Rai, produced by Gauri Khan and written by
Himanshu Sharma. There are three lead roles played by the famous King Khan,
‘Shahrukh Khan’ the biggest star of Bollywood along with the most famous and
beautiful co-actresses Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The trailer of this
movie was released on the 53rd birthday of SRK i.e. 2nd November 2018 which
became a double celebration for his die-hard fans.
‘Zero’
is the much-awaited film of this year and, also one of the highest budget films
of Bollywood. This upcoming film is going to be a blockbuster as SRK is back
with something interesting this time as his last movie did not do well.
However, the trailer has been released a couple of weeks ago, so it will be too
early to comment about the movie, but I am sure this will be one of the finest
movies in the history of Bollywood. The movie seems to be full of entertainment
with comedy and romance. The trailer reveals excitement through the dwarf role
played by SRK. We will see the journey of a dwarf man and his fortune after
meeting Katrina and Anushka.
The
whole story revolves around Bauua Singh (Shahrukh Khan), a vertically
challenged man. He found a companion Afia Bhinder played by Anushka Sharma, a
NASA scientist suffering from the neurological disorder. Later, a leading
female superstar Babita played by Katrina Kaif also gets close to him. This
love triangle takes them far off cities. Here, the suspense begins! What will
happen next?
In my opinion, Bauua a dwarf wanted to become famous through marrying a rich and famous girl. First, he had crush on a girl named Afia whose picture was in a magazine and she was a famous scientist and he wanted to get her at any cost. When he finally met her, he got to know that her crush was physically disabled and can’t walk even could not talk properly. He decided to leave her and carry on his mission of becoming famous and rich. Later, he had another crush on an actress known as Babita (the most famous barbie girl of Bollywood Katrina Kaif). Then he was after her. I think both girls would reject him because of his attitude and nature which would be the turning point in his life. As nobody would like to spend her life with a greedy man.

from the audience as well as other Bollywood celebrities. It is hard to believe

anxiously for this movie. This movie will last longer and will definitely break
all the records. I recommend everyone to watch first-day first show of this
movie.

SPIDER-MAN MOVIES: A RETROSPECTIVE (PART 2)
5. The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)
TO BE CONTINUED
When I first heard back in 2010 that they were rebooting the Spider-Man film franchise into a new series with Andrew Garfield (The Social Network) playing the titular hero, I was...skeptical to say the least. Me and a lot of people worldwide were gonna have trouble forgetting the Raimi directed films (the last of which came out just 3 years before this announcement). Despite that; I was willing to give this film a shot. It had a few things going for it:
Andrew Garfield had proved himself to be a talented actor as evidenced by his performance in The Social Network (2010). The guy they hired to replace Raimi; Marc Webb had recently directed 500 Days Of Summer which is one of the romcoms that I actually loved. Although I found it odd they chose a romance director helm a Spider-Man movie, I was at ease with it. Considering that Sam Raimi mainly did horror comedies before making a Spidey film. Plus the idea of them keeping Peter in high school and actually exploring what life is like for him there was something I did want to see in the movies since it's why I loved Ultimate Spider-Man, which is my favorite Spidey comic series to this day.
Despite all that...they messed it up anyway. It's a pretty mediocre film and an even worse Spidey adaptation. The first problem is that the film doesn't offer much that's new. Despite the film being marketed as "the untold story", it's the same old shlock. We get to see Peter in high school, crushing on the girl, getting bitten by the spider, the argument with Uncle Ben which ens with Ben lecturing him on responsibility, Peter letting a burglar escape with some line about how it's not his problem, Ben getting shot, the manhunt for the killer, Spider-Man fighting a green villain who was actually a scientist with a personal connection to Peter, etc. It's the exact same stuff and it feels like the film is just going through the motions with all of it. As a result; nothing feels genuine and I feel like I'm watching some Sony executive checking off his list of thing to include in a Spider-Man movie. Peter's parents could've been the only new thing the film offers and that's a subplot the film hardly ever focuses on.
Familiarity is far from being the only issue with the storytelling in this film. The tone is extremely inconsistent. This was a problem that was much worse in the sequel but it's still pretty bad here too. The film can't decide whether it's trying to be grounded or cartoony. Scenes of completely different tone follow one another in such a weird way that I kept wondering if they cut something. Here's an example:
Peter's uncle is dead and Pete feels responsible. We get a sad scene of him mourning and then a darker scene of him getting into a fight with the guy he assumes is the killer. Then a really "awe inspiring" montage of him on a manhunt as Spidey that's full of humor. Then a COMPLETELY 'humorous' scene of him messing with a car thief. Followed immediately by an intense confrontation with May about his injuries. Like..what. None of these transitions happen smoothly. It's like I'm watching 3 different films. Why can't things progress smoothly in this film? Oh and I use the term 'humorous' lightly because...it's really not funny. A lot of these subplots don't even go anywhere. The thing with the killer is dropped completely. Peter's parents stop being relevant the second he becomes Spidey and that plot doesn't even give us any new information. Peter had parents who vanished and that's it. We'll let you know how it goes in the sequel. UNTOLD STORY.
The acting is...eh. I wasn't too big on Andrew Garfield's performance as Spidey. I don't know whether to attribute that to the directing or the writing but he didn't do a good job. He didn't embody the pushover everyman that Peter Parker was during high school so I honestly don't get why he's playing the outcast in this film. Nothing about him is dorky. To quote honest trailers: He's an "athletic, intelligent, rebellious, attractive, well dressed, likable teenage....loser" Even the guys behind the movie couldn't make it work so in the first 3 mins of us meeting Peter; they have him screw up talking to a girl, get beat up and get his camera kicked. Just throwing it all in 3 damn minutes. Everyone else was...serviceable. Dennis Leary as George Stacy was probably my favorite in the film.
The villain was so forgettable. The reason that Doctor Connors is such a compelling villain in the comics is because his motivation for turning himself into the Lizard was his family. His desire to be a complete man for his wife and a father his son could look up to. The film cuts out his family from the story entirely and that makes his motivation weaker. Although Rhys Ifans gave a pretty good performance, the writing was generic and forgettable. His design looked like a goomba from that really old terrible Super Mario Bros movie.
There are good things about the film too. I found the romantic chemistry between the two leads to be very engaging. A lot of that can attributed to the director having done a romance movie before so he can do scenes of two people talking like that really well. The Peter and Gwen scenes were by far the highlight of this film and I think both Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone did a great job during those. This is helped by them dating in real life at the time.
The score by the late James Horner doesn't hold a candle to the extremely memorable Danny Elfman theme from the previous films but it's still pretty good. The vfx looked pretty great for the most part and the film has my absolute favorite Stan Lee cameo (which is the only moment in the film made me laugh btw).
But all of those good things are bogged down by 2 hours of them completely missing the point to Spider-Man. That's the biggest problem with the film. It's made by a bunch of people who don't understand the character. They made Peter into an unlikable character who gives away his secret identity to a girl he's had less then 3 mins of screentime with up to that point, he's verbally abusive to Aunt May for no reason, he breaks a dead man's promise at the end of the film, and he's a jerk to the police. Having Spider-Man learn responsibility because Captain Stacy lectured him on the fact that he's not helping people, instead of them having Ben's death be the cause was just dumb. It belittles the impact that death should have on Peter's character. The film even ends with him doing something really selfish and then cuts to the epic triumphant final web swing that the other Spider-Man movies have done. The difference is that those films did it when Peter moved FORWARD in some way.
Overall it's not a god awful movie but it's pretty bland by offering the same old stuff we've seen before and it misses the mark on who Spider-Man is. The only real reason this film even happened was so that Sony could keep the rights to the character away from Marvel. I doubt there was any real artistic motive in mind when producing these two films. This rebooted franchise didn't hold a candle to the original Spider-Man trilogy and I can understand completely why it failed after two films and Marvel got the rights back to the character.
I'm being very generous in giving this film a 5/10. I'm glad I'm done talking about these two films so I can get to the Spidey movies that are actually interesting.

TOP 5 TOXIC COUPLES ON TV
From time
to time we’ve seen amazing couples on T.V. that we idolized. Even though it all
seemed dreamy and unrealistic we still smiled insanely when they did something
cute and often complained to our significant other to be like them. Some of the
most adorable couples that shared perfect chemistry were Lily and Marshall from
How I Met Your Mother, Cory and Topanga from Boy Meets World, Leslie Knope and
Ben Wyatt from Parks and Recreation, Amy and Jake from Brooklyn-99 and many
many more.
But there
were a few T.V. couples that were presented as ‘cute’ but are actually weirdly
insane and obsessive when you think about it.
The top of
this list makes Rachel and Ross from FRIENDS. Why? They seem adorable at first
but when you think about it there were a lot of things you can learn of what
not to do when in a relationship. And rule number 1 is to not be so obsessive
about someone that it ruins your entire life. Ross was highly possessive and
jealous of Rachel's friendship with one of her colleagues that it turned him
into someone else. But even before their relationship started, he was obsessed
with her. Maybe the fact that he thought he was out of her league was what
attracted him even more to the idea of being with her. Their constant quelling
during the entire season of who did what to who and Rachel's fear of losing him
to another woman even after their breakup managed to get Ross another divorce. So
much so that they kept breaking up and making up for 10 whole seasons.
Constantly sabotaging each others relationships and then trying to be the
better person by not admitting they are in love. By the end of it they have a
kid, live together and pretend to be married (even when they do end getting
married while drunk and then getting a divorce before all this, mind you) but
don’t stay with each other as a couple. But then Rachel gets a highly amazing
job in Paris and THAT’S when Ross realizes he needs her back. Jeez. This is not
cute. And under no circumstance is it heal
2. Beth
and Jerry from Rick and Morty
Now
I know Rick and Morty is an animated show. But it doesn’t rule out the fact
that cartoons can’t have unhealthy relationships. Beth and Jerry is the most
toxic relationship I have ever seen on TV. There is an entire episode dedicated
to them, of when they go to see an intergalactic couple therapist who makes
them create a monster of each other, so that they can sort out their problems. Upon
using the machine they come to the conclusion that Jerry see’s Beth as a
horrible scorpion monster thing and Beth see’s Jerry as self-pitying and weak,
which visually becomes a slug. Those two monsters, when kept under observation,
become co-dependent and destroy the entire place and kill most of the staff.
The therapist, upon witnessing such a chaotic event, realizes that their
problematic couple issues are co-dependent of each other which makes their relation so toxic that Beth
can easily manipulate Jerry and Jerry, having a low IQ can use the ‘self-pity’
card when in trouble with Beth. The only reason why they’re together is because
of the kids.
3. Mr and Mrs Ari Gold from Entourage
Ari Gold
and his wife were apparently high school sweethearts who got married. But you
see that she’s constantly… and I mean CONSTANTLY… complaining about him and his
attitude and how he never seems to have time for her. Their marriage turns into
such a big mess that by the end of the seasons they have to go to a marriage
therapist. They, of course, have moments of endearment but it always seems as
though there’s not much chemistry left between the two and they don’t like
where they are. She eventually leaves him and starts to see other people and
he, to make her upset, tries to do the same. That sort of marriage leaves
nothing but regrets and creates mental hindrances to stop each other from
growing. Ari Gold, despite loving his wife so much, never really puts up much
effort to be with her and she, in return, tries to take out grudges of the
past
4. Ted Mosby and Robin Scherbatsky from How I Met Your Mother
Ted and Robin, like Ross and Rachel, are obsessed with each other, don’t
want one another to see anyone else, and pretend to be happy when the other one
is in a romantic relationship. If I’m being honest, they’re not too far from
Ross and Rachel. The only difference is that Ross and Rachel knew each other
since high school and these two met at a bar for the first time in their 20’s. The
whole series is about Ted Mosby telling his kids of how he’s trying to find his
perfect match. The series shows Ted and Robin being together and breaking up by
the end of season 3. But he keeps constantly bringing her up as an old romance
that he can’t forget. Even though they both want different things, the series
magically ends up giving them both what they wanted AND they end up with each
other. Why this is on the list is
a) Ted is obsessed with
Robin, so much so that his kids point it out in the last episode
b) The series very
conveniently puts them together at the end and that’s really a wrong depiction
of love
c) And despite being oh
so very old with 2 kids at the age of 15 he is still trying to peruse her with
their permission even though he found the love of his life… apparently.
This goes to show that he never really stop thinking about her. And neither
did she. Its all romantic and what not, but even when you’re married?? Think
about it. What if the mother never died in the series? Then would they have
continued their relationship somehow?
5. Haley Dunphy and Dylan from Modern
Family
Okay so now
I know that Haley and Dylan are probably the funniest couple in all of this but
they were still unhealthy to start with. Due to the fact that Dylan was a
little obsessed with Haley, he never really let her think she had to be
challenged in any way. He always seemed to cheekily compliment her and I know
that’s not a bad thing, but it never really lets the other person grow. Not
only that, but Dylan wasn’t the smartest either. It seemed more like he was
trying to dumb her down all the time, and when she left Dylan, to compensate
for her loss, Haley started dating a man the age of her father, someone who was
mature, experienced, and of course, smart. Dylan really held Haley back because
he wasted a lot of her time, did childish things, and never really pushed Haley
to her limits. Being in an unhealthy relationship is not only mental or
physical torture, but an unhealthy relationship is also one that doesn’t let
one another grow, it doesn’t let their significant other challenge their
limits, and most importantly, it stops the couple to be their best selves. In
all retrospect, I think that is most important thing you should look at when
you’re finding ‘the one’.
