QUESTIONS UNANSWERED IN RICK AND MORTY

Rick and Morty is a really complicated show. And I mean REALLY complicated. The more you watch it the more you get confused. And it’s just season 3. How much more crazy will this get??
1)      Are we following C-137 Rick and Morty?
In the episode where Rick and Morty go to Jerryboree Inc. and sign him in the Jerry care is where things start to get messy. By the end of it we see a Rick and Morty claiming a Jerry before going home from another Rick and Morty, and they swap the Jerry. Before leaving the number on the ticket is something else written on it than it was when they arrived. Either we’ve been following a different Rick and Morty, or the wrong Jerry came into the house. Not only that but, another episode has Mr. Poopybutthole as a part of their family. And that is the only episode we ever see Mr. Poopybutthole. Not only that but there is a constant back and forth of how Rick abandons dimensions like the one filled with Kronenbergs, the one where he dies and then replaces himself there. The whole show is getting crazier and crazier by the second. And at this point we might be lost as to which Rick and Morty we’re following.
2)      Is Rick and Morty still stuck in a simulation?
It is quite possible that Rick and Morty are stuck in the simulation they were in the episode 4 of season 1 where aliens trap Rick, Morty and Jerry (accidentally) in a simulation to get some concentrated dark matter. We see that Rick and Mort never really die or nothing really happens to them when Rick pretends to make concentrated dark matter but it ends up being just an explosive to destroy them. If that is the case, then it’s highly bizarre that they went through all this trouble just to get some concentrated dark matter’s formula on their hands. If this theory checks out, then there’s a possibility that we’ve been watching a simulation of the Zigerion all this time.
3)      Is Beth real?
By the end of season 3, the creators of this episode keep everyone wonder whether Beth took up Rick’s offer of leaving and doing what she needed to so she could be at peace while Rick could clone her body, memories and her way of living and no one would even notice. There are two possibilities to this. 1. That she really did leave and that is why clone Beth is so happy and loving and carefree towards her children after all of this happens. And 2. That she never really left but the idea that she could be free or at least have the option of doing this and it sets her mind at peace. She might just have had a change of heart and let all of this be. Or did she?
4)      Who is Evil Morty?
Evil Morty is pretty popular among the Citadel and as well as fans of the show. However there is a theory that C-137 Rick abandoned his grandson and he turned out to be Evil Morty as a phase of revenge towards him. There is a lot of absurdity towards who Evil Morty is since he has no background and his Rick is just a robot controlled by him. Rick has changed dimension many many times without any problems. And it is very visible of how he treats Morty. So there is a possibility these two will meet in the future and kill each other eventually.

I don’t know about you but I’m very excited to see how all of this unveils as the writers of this series are very careful with their writing and do not let a single frame go meaningless. The internet has many theories to these questions but only time will tell.
